Terms of Service

Last updated: June 2025

1. Service Description

MedDeviceMatch provides an AI-powered regulatory gap analysis tool that helps medical device companies identify potential compliance gaps between an existing regulatory submission and the requirements of target international markets. The service generates pre-audit diagnostic reports only — it is not a regulatory consulting service and does not constitute regulatory advice.

2. Important Disclaimer — Not Regulatory Advice

Read carefully before using this service.

Reports generated by MedDeviceMatch are AI-generated pre-audit diagnostic tools. They are not a substitute for professional regulatory affairs consultation. All findings must be independently reviewed and validated by a certified Regulatory Affairs Professional (RAP) before being used in connection with any regulatory submission. MedDeviceMatch, its operators, and affiliates assume no liability for regulatory decisions, submission outcomes, or market access delays arising from use of this service.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and authorized to act on behalf of your organization to use this service. By uploading documents, you represent that you have the legal right to share those documents with a third-party service provider.

4. Payments and Refunds

  • All payments are processed by Stripe and are non-refundable once an analysis has been initiated.
  • A single analysis covers one uploaded document and up to the selected target markets.
  • If an analysis fails due to a technical error on our side, we will re-run the analysis at no additional charge or issue a full refund at your election.
  • Pricing is subject to change. Existing paid orders are honored at the price charged at time of purchase.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Upload documents you do not have the right to share.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract the underlying AI prompts or models.
  • Use the service to generate reports for submission to regulatory bodies without independent professional review.
  • Misrepresent the outputs of this service as certified regulatory advice.

6. Data and File Deletion

Uploaded dossier files are permanently and automatically deleted 60 minutes after report generation. This deletion is irreversible. You are responsible for retaining copies of your original documents. MedDeviceMatch is not liable for any loss of data arising from this deletion policy, which you accept by using the service.

7. Intellectual Property

You retain all rights to documents you upload. The gap analysis reports generated from your documents are licensed to you for your internal business use. The MedDeviceMatch platform, software, and AI pipeline are the proprietary property of MedDeviceMatch.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MedDeviceMatch and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to regulatory submission failures, market access delays, or business losses arising from use of this service. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific analysis giving rise to the claim.

9. Modifications

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We will notify registered users of material changes by email.
